<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; color: #000000; font-size: small;">Sven’s industry experience includes domestic and international banks, broker/dealers, insurance companies, trust companies, and hedge funds, focusing on regulatory compliance, fraud issues and anti-money laundering (AML) compliance.  He has developed and led numerous presentations and/ or provided reports to various government agencies such as DOJ, SEC, Federal Reserve, OCC, and FDIC, and specializes in AML, financial fraud, due diligence, FCPA and fraud/integrity risk management.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; color: #000000; font-size: small;">Sven has worked for a highly select client base of major financial institutions throughout the United States and the world. He has a wealth of experience leading complex, high‑profile global projects, providing advisory services to clients in the United States, throughout Europe and Russia, the Caribbean Islands, Central and South America, and Asia. Sven is fluent in English, German, Czech, and Slovak, and possesses a working knowledge of Russian and Spanish.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif; color: #000000; font-size: small;">In addition, Sven is frequently asked to speak and/or to address regulatory compliance topics relating to AML and fraud in the current marketplace. Mr. Fitzgerald also attended Harvard Law School, Harvard University, Cambridge, Massachusetts, successfully completing advanced postgraduate studies in corporate and commercial law. </span></span></p>

<p>Declan Hill is an investigative journalist, documentary maker and academic. He specializes in the study of organized crime and international issues. His recent book <span style="color: #000000;"><em>‘The Fix: Soccer &amp; Organized Crime’</em> examined the corruption at the heart of international football and has become a best-seller in 14 languages. Before publishing </span><span style="color: #000000;"><em>‘The Fix’</em> he completed documentaries on the killing of the head of the Canadian mafia, blood feuds in Kosovo and ethnic cleansing in Iraq. He has also made documentaries in Kurdistan, Bolivia, India, Mexico, and Turkey. </span></p>
<p>Declan has worked for CBC Radio (<span style="color: #000000;"><em>&#8220;Ideas&#8221;, &#8220;Tapestry&#8221;, &#8220;Dispatches&#8221;, &#8220;The Current&#8221;, &#8220;Iraq Unit&#8221;</em>) CBC Television (</span><span style="color: #000000;"><em>&#8220;the fifth estate&#8221;, &#8220;Disclosure&#8221;, &#8220;Newsworld&#8221; and &#8220;Newsworld International&#8221;</em>) and </span><span style="color: #000000;"><em>&#8220;PBS Frontline&#8221;</em>. His programs and articles have appeared on BBC Radio World Service and BBC Radio 4: the Guardian and the Sunday Telegraph (London), as well as various new media outlets. In the last few years, Declan was a Chevening Scholar at Green College, University of Oxford where he obtained his doctorate on the study of match-fixing in professional football.</span></p>

He is currently a Director of the newly formed Antigua and Barbuda Association of Compliance Officers and a member of the International Financial Services Provider of Antigua and Barbuda.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">He is an advocate on AML training and has conducted several training sessions both locally and internationally. He is also a lecturer and head of the Banking and Finance Department at the Antigua and Barbuda International Institute of Technology and a tutor for the Eastern Caribbean Central Bank Savings and Investment program.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-size: small;">Kem holds a fellow in Banking (FICB), he is a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) and a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS). Recently, he decided to form his own company KAW Management Services Limited, specializing in areas of AML, Anti Fraud, Risk Management and Operations Management Consultancy.</span></p>

<p>You have the choice to pay by cheque or wire transfer. Details can be found on the invoice you will receive shortly after your registration.</p>
<p><strong>What happens if I have not paid my registration fee before the conference?</strong></p>
<p>You will be asked for payment (of the higher on-site registration fee, USD 950) when arriving at the conference venue.  Any discounts offered are on the condition that payment is received in advance.</p>
<p><strong>Can I send a replacement?</strong></p>
<p>Yes. Please <a style="color: #ba0000;" href=" http://www.ebdgroup.com/bts/registration/index.php"> register</a> your replacement online and mention in the comment field &#8220;replacement for XY&#8221;.</p>

<p><strong>What is the cancellation policy?</strong></p>
<p>Cancellations must be sent by October 1, 2011, to Robyn Le Cornu at rlecornu@gcs.com.ky to receive a refund Any cancellations after the deadline are subject to a 50% cancellation fee.  Refunds will be processed after the conference.  However, a paid registration is transferable to a replacement delegate from your company. Please note that no-shows will be billed for the full registration fee.</p>

All 305 rooms are drenched in tropical hues of melon, tangerine &amp; avocado, accented with rich dark woods. La Mer Spa, featuring renowned YonKa therapy, also received a massive expansion to include 4 over-sized treatment rooms and a 2-bed couples suite with Jacuzzi. Each of our 4 restaurants &amp; bars has also been reinvented with new names, decor &amp; cuisine offering guests an array of choices. The addition of a $ quarter million in reef balls has enabled the beach to retain more powder-white sand and attract sea life, providing on-property snorkeling. <p>plus taxes is based on single or double occupancy. They will have an extra charge $25.00 USD per additional person in each room if is needed. Net rates are subject to 10% government tax and 10% hotel service charge. The hotel service charge includes bellmen and maid gratuities. There are no additional “resort fees”. Prices are in US dollars. Group rates available three (3) days prior and after the conference, based on availability.</p>

<p>Individuals will be required to submit a credit card in order to guarantee the reservation. At the cut-off date, September 8, 2009, the credit card will be charged a non-refundable deposit for the full stay. Individuals are responsible for room, tax, service charge and incidentals. Individual credit cards for any incidental charges not covered by the group will be pre-authorized for $100.00 per day upon check-in.</p>

Reservation requests from attendees received after this cut-off date will be accepted on a space available basis, at the higher of either the contract rate or rate available at that time.</p>
<p>4. Accommodations are king bedded rooms based on availability.</p>
<p>5. Check-In time is 3:00 pm. Check- Out time is 12:00 noon. No room will be guaranteed until 3:00 pm.</p>
