John Gorman is a senior law enforcement executive with a state police agency in the United States where he oversees the agency’s cyber investigative and response strategy. From 2015 – 2016 he served a six-month fellowship with the FBI. There, he developed an uncommon awareness and understanding of the cyber landscape from a national and international perspective that includes how governments counter, mitigate, and respond to the cyber threat. He chairs a national committee that provides insight into the investigative, technical, and legal issues inherent to cyber investigations and makes recommendations that steer national policy and promote collaboration on cyber investigative and intelligence fronts. He is recognized nationally for educating law enforcement on cryptocurrency concepts and investigative policy.
